I was hungry to paint. Purely for the joy of painting and pushing my limits on contrast and color, I choose to paint this happy peacock. Although he may not have lips, he is smiling.
His name is MISO… not named for miso soup, but rather a short name for Mission Southside, a local non-profit whose food pantry was depleted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
MISO is helping! Being hungry to help the cause MISO will be sold with 100% of the proceeds going to helping Mission Southside!
